Rashid Islamic Institute of Arabic Language & Literature

Al-Rashid Islamic Institute (RII) is committed to the promotion of Islamic tradition in Edmonton and the surrounding area, which involves various aspects of Islamic studies.

The first two-month course was introduced in the summer of 2006 and reflected on the Introduction of Islam. Dr. Safwat Hijazy and Shaykh Yahya al-Buraydi have also contributed to the Canadian Islamic Centre through many lectures and workshops.
