Masjid Education

The Canadian Islamic Centre (Al-Rashid Mosque) offers many forms of Islamic education and intensive teaching programs. Our visiting scholars offer workshops and lectures, and many education opportunities to the Islamic community. These lectures are open to the public as well. We also offer Friday lectures for ladies, Sunday and Tuesday lectures, and others. Our youth club, aims to educate our Muslim youth socially and civically, in order to produce responsible muslim citizens. The Youth Club also provides a variety of physical activities such as, basketball, hockey, soccer and Taekwondo in addition to its educational and cultural programs.
